What Muse Video Is
Muse Video is a text-to-video AI model: you describe a scene in a prompt and it returns a short cinematic clip with native audio — dialogue, ambient sound, effects, and music generated together with the picture in the same pass, rather than layered on afterward. Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL) previewed it on July 7, 2026 as its first video-generation model, alongside Muse Image, and built it on the same pretraining foundation. Meta points to three areas of competitive performance: prompt adherence, visual fidelity, and temporal consistency.
Where It Ranks
On the LMArena text-to-video leaderboard, human raters place Muse Video third by preference Elo (around 1459 as of early July 2026), behind Google's gemini-omni-flash and ByteDance's dreamina-seedance-2.0. Meta is openly transparent about the current gaps — audio-video synchronization and physically accurate fast motion are still being refined. The model is an early preview, described as coming soon to creators and in Meta AI; there is no public API, resolution, clip length, or pricing announced yet.
About This Platform
muse-video.ai is an independent AI video studio. You write a prompt, choose an aspect ratio (16:9, 1:1, or 9:16), and the studio renders a short cinematic clip with synchronized native audio — no camera, no microphone, no editing timeline. Everything happens on-site: you sign in, receive free starter credits, and each generation spends credits from your balance. Clips are yours to download, and paid plans grant full commercial rights.
An Honest Note About the Engine
Because Muse Video's own model is still in early preview with no public API, it cannot yet power a product like this one. So while Meta's model rolls out, this studio delivers the same core experience — prompt to cinematic clip with native audio — today, running on a leading available frontier video model that also generates synchronized sound in one pass: ByteDance's Seedance 2.0, currently the #2 model on the same Arena leaderboard. We are transparent about this so you always know what is generating your videos, and as the landscape evolves we will keep routing to the strongest available engine for this experience.
